PVD Cello Fest Special Event featuring the George Crotty Trio, August 22

Come out for an exciting evening of cello-centric performances spanning a variety of musical styles including jazz, world music, free improvisation, and songwriting. The George Crotty Trio (NYC) tours its new album "Heart Music", a fusion of Jazz, Hindustani, and contemporary chamber music. Opening the bill will be local cellist songwriters/improvisers Animal Love and Cello Candy (Zan Berry).

ABOUT US
Started in February 2020, the PVD Cello Festival is an event committed to enriching the music scene in Providence by presenting concerts and educational workshops that celebrate the versatility of the cello. By hosting concerts in different types of venues and showcasing the instrument in many different styles and genres, PVD Cello Fest aims to build new connections within the community and foster curiosity about what is possible on the cello.
