Cello Fest Kicks off with an exciting evening of multi-genre cellos! Jake Sokolov, EDT, Anna Kerber, Cello Candy, Sammy Wetstein, and Isabel Castellvi perform folk music, alternative songs, experimental music, and improvised music!​

Cello Fest concludes with a night of traditional folk, old-time music, and jams featuring 2025 guest artist Sammy Wetstein, the Vox Hunters, and more local cellists!

All Cello Fest Events are based on a sliding scale of $10-20, paid at the door

ABOUT US
Started in February 2020, the PVD Cello Festival is an event committed to enriching the music scene in Providence by presenting concerts and educational workshops that celebrate the versatility of the cello. By hosting concerts in different types of venues and showcasing the instrument in many different styles and genres, PVD Cello Fest aims to build new connections within the community and foster curiosity about what is possible on the cello.
